Weight and Volume – Waga i pojemność

Try to standardize on these as i go along:

Volume measure of any kind         1 cup = 236 ml


Mąka/Flour:                                    1 cup flattened with a knife=226 ml=145g

Masło/Butter                                  1 cup= 1/2 Canadian butter block=228g 1 tbsp=14g

Cukier/Sugar                                  1 cup flattened with a knife=200g

Corn meal (maka kukurydziana) 1 cup = 170g

One packet (1 tablespoon) of powdered gelatin is equivalent to four gelatin sheets. This is enough to soft-set 2 cups of liquid. So 4 leaves is as good as 8-10 grams of powder.
