I also successfully used hazelnuts instead of pecans . Once used Camembert instead of Brie.. Result is always worth the waiting time..
- 1 wheel Brie cheese
- butter
- pecans
- minced (chopped?) parsley
- Place Brie in an ovenproof dish (the same one you will serve the cheese in).
- Turn the oven to 325F
- Bake the cheese for 15 to 20 minutes or until warm (will develop a ‘bubble’ or a ‘tent’ on top of the cheese ring).
- Toast pecans in butter and stir in parsley.
- Place pecan mixture on top of the cheese.
- Serve with crackers.
