Absolutely real, German, soft, tender, delicious! It may take good 2 1/2 or 3 hours, so be prepared to cool some beer, chill the wine, test the meat after 2 1/2 hours.
- Put pork hock in a roasting pan with lid.
- Cover with water (or with beer, if you prefer)
Add:
- Salt
- Paprika
- Soya
- Onions
- Celery
- Carrots
- Pickling spice
- Garlic
- Set the oven to 350F
- Place covered dish in, and wait.
- When you can put your finger through the skin, the meat is ready.
