Pork hocks a la Walter

Absolutely real, German, soft, tender, delicious! It may take good 2 1/2 or 3 hours, so be prepared to cool some beer, chill the wine, test the meat after 2 1/2 hours.

  1. Put pork hock in a roasting pan with lid.
  2. Cover with water (or with beer, if you prefer)

Add:

  • Salt
  • Paprika
  • Soya
  • Onions
  • Celery
  • Carrots
  • Pickling spice
  • Garlic
  1. Set the oven to 350F
  2. Place covered dish in, and wait.
  3. When you can put your finger through the skin, the meat is ready.
