Makes about 175 ml..
This is great for salads with fruit or a slight sweetness to them.
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard (careful here, it may bring a shade of bitterness if overdosed)
- 2 tablespoons chopped mint or basil or lemon balm
- 80 ml vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- Whisk together lemon juice, sugar, salt, pepper, dry mustard and herbs in a bowl.
- Whisk in oil and stir in poppy seeds.
