Haselnusskugeln

Double recipe makes more than 6 dozen of bite size pieces, good enough for one large baking flat..

  • 150g flour
  • ½ egg
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100g butter
  • 50g ground hazelnuts
  • 75g hazelnuts for decoration
  1. mix ingredients and knead dough
  2. form rolls
  3. cut 2 cm disks, form little balls and put on baking sheet
  4. press a hazelnut into the middle
  5. bake at 200° C (400F) for ca. 15 – 20min. Watch them like a hawk! They burn easily!
