Crispy chinese chicken breast

Serves 4

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 1 ½  tsp sea salt
  • 2 ½ tsp Chinese five-spice powder
  • 1 tbs peanut oil
  1. Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with the salt and five-spice powder.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat.
  3. Place the chicken in the pan and cook for 4 minutes each side or until cooked through.
  4. Cut into pieces and serve with steamed snow peas (mange tout) tossed in hoisin sauce
