- 2 cans of chickpeas – drain most of the water from the cans (not all). Some people don’t like canned, so they buy dehydrated chickpeas and soak them, then cook them
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil 3-to-4 tablespoons..
- Sesame Tahini – 3 tablespoons.
- Juice of 1-2 lemons. Fresh squeezed is definitely better.
- Fresh garlic (2-3 cloves)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon or to taste)
- Cumin (1 tablespoon or to taste)
- Put all ingredients in a food processor
- Turn the machine on, it takes about 5 minutes.
- Adjust amounts and time to your tastes.
